Baked Stuffed Zucchini

Ingrediens!
2 medium zucchini, approx. 1 pound
2 tablespoons butter
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
2 cups of soft bread cubes
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
salt and pepper
Preparation!
The oven is heated to 350 Fahrenheit
Grease a shallow dish large enough to hold the zucchini halves.
Wash the zucchini hole well.
Put whole zucchini in a saucepan and add an inch or two of water. Cook over medium heat. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover pan and cook about 8 minutes.
Drain the zucchini and cut it lengthwise to make two halves. Crack the pulp, leaving enough shell to stop filling. Pour the removed pulp and set it aside.
Melt the butter in a heavy skillet over medium-low heat. Cook the garlic and onion until the onion is translucently stirred in chopped zucchini pulp, brown cubes, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper.
Fills the zucchini halves with the bread filling mixture.
Place zucchini in the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until zucchini is tender.
Makes four stuffed zucchini boats.
