Ingredient!
8 skinless boneless chicken breasts
8 slices of cooked ham
4 slices of Swiss cheese, cut into 1 inch pieces
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup cornflakes cereal crumbs
1 (10.75 ounces) can be condensed cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Preparation!
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
Place each chicken breast halfway between plastic wrap and pound plates with a meat tails for approx. 1/8 inch thickness.
Sprinkle a cheese on each ham and lightly rinse with thyme and salt and pepper to taste.
Clean up spicy ham and cheese ends and secure with toothpicks.
Put melted butter in a small bowl and place the grain crumbs in a low bowl or bowl. Dip each chicken roll in butter or margarine, then roll in crumbs, turning to coat thoroughly. Place coated rolls in a lightly greased Nine Multiple Thirteen inch baking sheet.
for approx. 40 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and the fruit juice runs dry. Serve with cordon bleu sauce if Make Cordon Bleu Sauce In a small saucepan, mix the soup, cream and lemon juice. heat, stir and serve hot over chicken rolls. Do approx. 2 cups 8 servings of 1/4 cup each.
