1 yellow onion
1/4 cup green onions
2 red peppers
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 juice
4 cups chicken broth
4 cups of beef broth
ground cumin (1 tablespoon.)
1 tablespoon chili powder

1/4 cup brown rice 1 cup peanut butter (for South Beach Diet, be sure to choose natural peanut butter with no added sugar)
Preparation!
Chop the onions, green onion, peppers and garlic and put them in the slow cooker. Add canned tomatoes with juice, chicken and beef broth, ground cumin, Ancho chili powder, New Mexico pepper, Aleppo pepper, lentils and brown rice. Cook over high heat for about 4 hours or over low heat for about 8 hours. (If you’re at home, you can stir it once or twice, but it’s not essential.)
After 4 hours (above) or 8 hours (below), reduce the heat in the peanut butter. Cook for about an hour more. (Or make it 30 minutes high if you are in a hurry for dinner.) Serve hot.
