Ingredient!
4 slices of apple smoked bacon
1 cup of brown sugar
1/3 cup of nut butter
1/4 cup whipped cream
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon of Chinese five spice powder
16 ounces of dough
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup golden raisins
1 cup butter
1/2 cup of pecan halves
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
Preparation!
Bake bacon in a large frying pan over medium heat until crispy. Drain and store 2 tablespoons of the drops in the frying pan. Pour bacon on paper towels crumble bacon. Add brown sugar, maple nut butter and whipped cream to the frying pan and stir until melted. Stir vanilla and spices.
Lightly grease a 10-inch fluted tubular pan. Cut the thawed bread dough into 1 – 11/2-inch pieces. Place one third of the pieces of bread, half of the crumbled bacon, half of the pecans and half of the raisins in the prepared tube. Sprinkle a third of the whipped cream mixture evenly over the pieces of bread. Cover with a third of the pieces of bread and the remaining bacon, pecans and raisins. Sprinkle a third of the whipped cream mixture. Top with the remaining pieces of bread and the remaining whipped cream mixture
Cover and let it rise in a warm place until it is almost twice as large
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the bread springs back when lightly touched. Cool in the pan on a rack for 10 minutes. Turn over on a serving dish and remove the pan.
