Fried potato soup I

Ingredient!
12 slices of bacon
2/3 cup margarine
2/3 cup flour for all purposes
7 cups of milk
4 large baked potatoes, peeled and diced
4 green onions, minced
1 1/4 cups of grated Cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper.
Preparation!
Place bacon in a large, deep frying pan. Cook over medium heat until brown. Drain off, crumble off and set aside.
In a storage pot or Dutch oven, the margarine melts over medium heat. Beat in the flour until it is smooth. Gradually stir in the milk and whisk constantly until they become thicker. Stir in the potatoes and onions. Bring to the boil and stir regularly.
Lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Mix bacon, cheese, sour cream, salt and pepper. Keep cooking, stirring often, until cheese has melted.
