1/2 cup hot milk
1 egg
1/3 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon of salt

The shims from the larger end roll gently but firmly. Place the pointing side down on an ungreased cookie sheet. Cover with a clean cloth and put in a warm place, let rise for 1 hour. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius)
Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.
